From the moment we walked in, they did everything they could to make my dog feel comfortable and welcomed. She deals with anxiety, and rather than getting straight into the exam, they introduced themselves to my dog, offered treats, a ball, and took things very slow. I have never seen my dog so relaxed at a vet. The exam went smoothly, the rates I was charged were very reasonable, and we even found a new favorite treat!

Dr. Bayliff was our vet for many years and walked with us through the blessing and pain of taking care of our beloved pet companions. Dr. Bayliff took such great care of all of our dogs, Django, Larry, Buster and Lola! She was very patient with all of our questions and really listened. She was the best vet we every had and were sad she left L.A. but our loss is Salt Lake’s gain. You would be very lucky to have her care for your furry friends.

Dr. Brandi Bayliff has been our families Veterinarian for many years. We relied on her expertise over the years to guide us in making the best decisions for our pets. Dr. Bayliff has a true compassion for all animals and cares for them as if they were her own. She is beyond thorough in her exams and always takes her time to explain and deliver treatment options that are easy to understand. She most recently saved our Cocker Spaniel’s life by detecting a small growth on a routine exam. Thankfully it turned out to be a non cancerous growth and he is fine, but if left untreated, may have turned out differently and costly for us. Her patience and knowledge of all aspects of Veterinary medicine are astounding. She’s a remarkable surgeon as well and we’ve been blessed many times by her skillful hand. Dr. Bayliff cares for several of our neighbors pets and they have been so grateful of our recommendation to see her. From puppies to seniors, dogs to cats, and everything in between, having her as our longtime Veterinarian has been a true pleasure and trusting experience from day one. We have had several pets over the years, and we strive to love them and care for them as much as they love and care for us. Part of that is finding excellent veterinary care, which is a challenge. Some doctors love our pets, others have thorough and up-to-date medical knowledge and skill, others are able to communicate clearly what we need to do for our pets and what our options are, and still others run an office that is clean, efficient, and friendly. Finding a doctor who has all of these qualities is somewhat like finding one's soul mate, and that is exactly whom we have found in Dr. Bayliff. Dr. Bayliff has been there when we brought home the puppy, through the surgeries and "the cone," in those wonderful in-between years when we don't see each other very often because our pets are strong and healthy, and those aging years when we have more frequent visits. She has sat on the floor with me because my sick dog was scared of the examination table. She has taught me to administer injections to my elderly diabetic dog, and she has consulted regarding end-of life decisions. Dr. Bayliff has been there for our family on some of our happiest and some of our most excruciating days, and we are truly grateful and forever bonded.

A very sad day for me was when Dr. Bayliff left the Veterinary practice that we’ve been going to for the past 10 years. She took care of both of my dogs, and Cody, my Maltese has a LOT of health issues. She did a lot of hand holding with me. Her compassion and knowledge were beyond what I expected. She would spend as much time with us in the office as we needed, letting me ask question after question and answering all of them with patience, understanding and clarity. Furthermore, she would leave me detailed messages about any results or opinions that she needed to share with me. She always called me herself rather than leaving it to the office staff to relay the message. I will miss her more than she even knows but I am happy for anyone who chooses her to care for his/her pets. You will be in the BEST HANDS ever!

As a person whose pets are part of the family, the importance of a great veterinarian cannot be understated. Dr Bayliff is exceptional in every way. Her vast and ever-expanding knowledge base has an incredible impact on the health and recovery of patients. She is also dedicated in every sense, recognizing the unique bond between we pet parents and out pets. Dr Bayliff loves animals and brings a certain calm to them. Her talents and abilities supersede that of an ordinary vet, although her humble nature combined with her positive attitude are an incredible part of the complete care you get with Dr Bayliff. Dr Bayliff is the best veterinarian a person can ask for when it comes to their pet. Dr Bayliff was my beloved dog’s doctor from an early age to his last days. She is amazing at what she does and is very thorough with her examinations. I always trusted Dr B with all of Chico’s medical needs. She was always positive and caring with Chico and us. I would always consider Dr Bayliff’s diagnosis my first and final opinion. That’s how much I trust her. Even in the end, the caring Dr Bayliff was by our side to the very last second. She is truly the best and an expert at what she does.

Dr. Bayliff took incredible care of our cat "Ham" when he knocked on death's door. Although he was a young cat, he was stricken with a life-threatening UTI which went unchecked while we were out of town on business. Once we got him emergency care, Dr. Bayliff allowed us to visit him and give him the affection he needed to get his health back together. This includes weekends and after hours visits where we always found him recovering nicely in a clean and warm mew. Dr. Bayliff checked in on him frequently and personally updated us more than we even anticipated. The type of personal concern Dr. showed for "Ham" assured me that there are great veterinarians out there who still have the personal capacity to share love and kindness for deathly ill house pets despite hectice and demanding practices.

Dr. Bayliff has always been terrific and caring to my pup – from the very first visit. She made Lili feel very comfortable and was always playful with her during the exam. Dr. Bayliff also answered any concerns I had and made sure I understood everything before leaving the office. Although it has been nearly two years, we will never forget how important and caring you were to us and our Lab, Lizzy — especially in her "super senior" years. Every time Lizzy visited, you were happy to see her (as she was to you), and had a new and valuable idea for how to treat her. We know in our hearts that, with your kind and expert care, we were blessed with an extra 3-4 years of life with her. She lived to age 15! And at the end, you offered us great kindness, comfort and support. You truly have a special way with animals (and their owners!), and have found your calling. Your new clients will be well served. We left the Glendale area in 2018, and were sorry to say goodbye to you and the rest of the staff at Montrose Pet Hospital. We started seeing Dr. Mitchell in about 2001, and followed her when she moved to the Honolulu Blvd. location. You have been the primary doctor for our pets since you started with MPH, and we have always been pleased and satisfied with your care of them. Your rapport with your patients and their families is extraordinary, and we were impressed with the expertise and good humor you brought to their treatment. We wish you the best in your move to Utah, and know that the critters of Salt Lake City will have an excellent new veterinarian available to treat them.

Dear Dr. Bayliff, So sorry you’ll be leaving California. Thank you for figuring out what was wrong with Lovebug! He had been sick for so sick for so long. The diagnosis of cancer was the worst but you treated him as if he was your own furry baby which extended his life and during his treatments he seemed comfortable. You always responded to my calls and treated Lovebug with respect. Losing Lovebug was very hard. Thank you for your support during the last days of his life. I believe he knew you were helping him because he was always happy to see you. He can be difficult to manage when he is scared. You seem to have the touch to calm him down. I appreciate your gentle and kind way with him as he responded well even when getting shots. Thanks again for your service. The fur babies in Utah and their parents are lucky to have you.

Although Greg and I and, of course, our dog Zeke, will miss Dr. Bayliff, we wish her all the best. She has always been very compassionate, caring, and very thorough. She also took care of our other dog, Cody. When we had to put him down, Dr. Bayliff was there for us. As hard as it was for us, she was extremely compassionate and helped us through the situation. Dr. Bayliff provided compassionate care to our elderly cats as they faced the inevitable issues of age and mortality, and more recently to our young cats as they have grown from kittens into adults. Our loss is your gain: We recommend her to anyone who loves their animals. She will love them too.

Dr Bayliff is an amazing, compassionate vet who cared not only for my own animals, but also for quite a few rescue ones under my care. Dr. Brandi Bayliff was wonderful when my cat, Nipper, contracted pancreatitis in May of 2018. She could not have been more caring for Nipper and more supportive to me enabling us to get through this crisis and Nipper to regain his health. She will be missed in California and Utah is lucky to have her.

You were there for us (Harvey my Cat, & me) through the life-threatening disease of cryptococcus. It seems a miracle that Harvey is now 13 years old! With your dedicated efforts to his health and ongoing treatment over the years, my dearest little friend and I are still going strong! Congratulations to you! I am so excited for your new adventure and at the same time I am sad because you will be very missed!!! You have been absolutely the best Doctor I have had with Leo. Leo had stomatitis at the age of 7. He was 7 when I brought him in on Mother's Day and I thought I was going to have to say goodbye then. I had an extra 4 years with my amazing boy! He was and is my heart!! You treated him with such dignity and respect. You always talked to him first and let him know that it was going to be okay before you would look into his mouth (which was always painful). He was clam around you and we both trusted you! Getting him to the vet was quite a task, but I knew that we'd see you and he would be ok. You are so kind and gentle and reassuring and that made our visits much easier! Thank you so much for all your love and for caring so much about my Leo! You will be deeply missed!!

You are getting the best veterinarian there is. We are heartbroken to lose her. My wife cried when she learned Dr Bayliff was leaving. Our loss is your gain. There is so much we have to say. We hope people read this. We have a super-high energy chocolate lab with epilepsy named Joe. He is our world. We love him so much, but he is very difficult to handle. Dr Bayliff and her team are always understanding and wonderful with him. She has a unique, fun and delightful way of dealing with animals. They LOVE her. Joe wants to marry her. Joe’s medical condition has progressed since he was first diagnosed at 2, and many times we thought we would lose him. Dr Bayliff has spent untold hours of her own time researching his condition because she cares. She used her vast experience and constant training to prescribe and oversee the best medicines and treatment for him. She solicits other professional opinions and stays on top of his progress. She calls and checks up on him. She makes thoughtful and well-researched adjustments. She has an amazing approach. Joe will be 8 this year....thanks to Dr Bayliff.

How do we put to words our thoughts and love for Dr. Bayliff? It is simply not possible - so, what ever kindness and joy you find reading this letter please multiply it by 10,000 times and you will come close to how we feel about Dr Bayliff as a veterinarian, a person and a friend. We met Dr Bayliff when our rescued kitty, Jimmy Jazz, was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease and it didn’t look like he would be with us for long. But as you will find out, Dr Bayliff will not only do all she can, but she WILL DO all that can be done to care for your pet.. Her use of western and eastern veterinarian techniques gave us hope when there wasn’t any. Gave us results when we didn’t know they were even possible. It was through her thoughtful, intuitive, yet studied and skillful care, that we were able to have 5 more unforgettable years with our Jimmy. We started fondly calling her a "witch doctor" because when we would bring Jimmy in - riddled with arthritis, lethargy and constipation (and that was only a few of his problems) we would leave her office 40 minutes later and Jimmy would have a bounce in his step and back to his unique brand of humor. We think Dr Bayliff's heart is so full of kindness and compassion that her arteries could no longer contain it all, and it leaked out to her exterior and that's why she's so beautiful and radiant. Utah is a gorgeous state, and family is important, but we just absolutely hate to lose her... But we understand and wish her all the love back to her that she's given us. Did we mention that she has a fabulous sense of humor, quick wit, and really listens when you speak to her. She always makes you feel like your important and that you are her only patient (even when there is a pile of patients in other rooms and the waiting room). So, it is with tears over our smiles that we say goodbye to Dr. Bayliff. Smiles because we know how lucky those Utah animals are going to be in her care. Tears because she's more than our Vet.... she's an angel who although very professional, took care of our Jimmy like he was her own. We will miss you so Dr. Bayliff. You are one in a trillion.

Dear Dr Bayliff I want to thank you for your great veterinarian services over the past few years. You have always been very professional and knowledgeable, and I fully trusted you to take good care of Niko. You always took the time to explain everything in detail, no matter how many questions I asked you, and I greatly appreciate that. I never felt rushed during our visits. Above all, I thank you for your patience and kindness towards Niko who you called "a sensitive man." You are our favorite veterinarian, and we were so happy to have found you. Dr. Bayliff since meeting during one of our three dogs wellness exams or animal emergencies, you have always treated our animals with a compassionate gentleness and such professionalism as you spoke to them like they were your own. You shared rave reviews with such enthusiasm during annual exams and sometimes not such great news about our senior dogs. Always understanding our love and concern as we teared up with emotion in the exam room. I am so grateful that our black Standard Poodle Coco who almost made it to her 16th birthday benefited from your knowledge and caring hands during your time at Montrose Pet Hospital. You are smart, kind and understanding and the Sun Family will miss you so much…and that includes Benson (12 year old Bichon) and Fanny (12 year old white Standard Poodle) who, as you understand are our beloved fur-children. My wife and I live just outside of Los Angeles. We have been dog owners for many years and fortunately had an amazing caring veterinarian, Brandi Bayliff. We had two Maltese and our Mikey was diagnosed with thyroid cancer which was spreading through his body. Brandi treated Mikey with love, compassion and outstanding care and kept him active and happy for three plus years after his diagnosis. Her acupuncture therapy worked wonders for Mikey. Eventually Mikey passed and Brandi arranged for him to pass painlessly and with his whole family around him. We will forever be thankful for Brandi Bayliff for all she did. She was the most amazing caring and competent veterinarian we have ever had. She also took care of our other dog, Lulu who is doing great. The pet owners in Salt Lake City are truly fortunate to have the best veterinarian we have ever known.

Dr. Bayliff has taken wonderful care of my many boxers over the years. She sincerely cares about their health and no problem has ever been too small to not take seriously. I’m sorry it took me so long😩 I do not have enough words to express how much Dr. Bayliff has helped me through the toughest times in my life. I’ve known Dr. Bayliff for 9 years now and I couldn’t have asked for a better person caring for my 3 golden retrievers. Dr. Bayliff is kind, gentle and patient with the dogs and genuinely cares about them, and my dogs LOVED her. She is very knowledgable and well respected. One thing I’ve always appreciated about Dr. Bayliff is she will always tell me like it is and walk me through my options, she breaks things down for me to help me understand what is going on. She takes the time to ensure I understand and would help me brainstorm what I can do to help my dogs with whatever they were going through. Or even if it was just a routine appointment or I was just coming in for a vet tech appointment, she always made her to come say hello to my dogs and myself, she was always very thorough with her assessments. My oldest pup Brandy recently passed away due to bone cancer and Dr. Bayliff was there every step of the way, even from Utah. She met with me while I was seeing a speciality Dr. to still oversee Brandy’s care and explain to me what was happening. I was able to track her down when she moved to Utah full time and she still was kind enough to spend over an hour with me on the phone to help me determine the best thing to do for my pup. Even after my pup crossed the rainbow bridge, she still reached out to check in and see how everything was going. That’s the kind of person she is, she goes above and beyond for not just her dogs but the humans too, I truly am so grateful for her. I could never trust another vet like I trust Dr. Bayliff and anyone is going to be extremely lucky to have her see their pup.

We have seen Dr. Brandi Bayliff since 2015 at Montrose Pet Hospital in California. It was unfortunate to hear that she had decided to move back home to Utah as my wife, and I had grown very fond of her. She is one of the most compassionate and caring veterinarians we've ever had the pleasure of working with. Our four-legged daughter Lola has many health issues varying from Cushing's and Osteoarthritis to Heart Disease.
